The Deauville L'Original Large Beach Bag is an ode to marine beauty, designed by Marinette Saint-Tropez. Crafted from 100% thick cotton canvas, this bag offers a dense and resistant fabric. The all-over illustration covers the entire front and back, creating a lush marine botanical plate effect. Each shell is drawn with remarkable attention to detail – the ridges of the scallops, the spirals of the conches, the geometric patterns of the checkered cones, the granular texture of the starfish – rendered in a subtle watercolor style that blends the dominant color of the chosen hue with touches of beige, sand, taupe, and off-white. The white background allows the composition to breathe, giving each marine element space to unfold and stand out sharply.
In the bottom right corner of the front, the inscription "Saint-Tropez" is printed in elegant cursive lettering in the dominant color of the bag – a discreet and refined signature that anchors this marine cabinet of curiosities in the mythical geography of the Riviera. No embroidery, no tufting – just fluid typography, printed with the same finesse as the shells, harmoniously integrated into the composition like an artist's signature at the bottom of their work.
